30 Knowledge Park Drive
Fredericton, NB. One big parking-lot loop, so nobody gets lost and nobody gets tired.
$15 per child
Grown-ups come along free. Every child gets a full bag of tricks and treats.
100% to the Chalmers Foundation
Funding pediatric care at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital and the Stan Cassidy Centre.
Rain or shine. Costumes strongly encouraged, for kids and grown-ups alike.
Think Halloween night, squeezed into one parking lot on a Sunday afternoon. No dark streets, no long walks between houses, and every stop is a decorated car trunk run by a local business.
Buy online through Eventbrite and choose your entry time. $15 per child, and they go quickly every year.
Costumes on, bags ready. Last year we had a Stay Puft marshmallow man, three witches and an entire pizza. The bar is high.
Show your ticket at your chosen entry time. The whole loop is on flat pavement, so strollers and wagons are welcome.
40+ decorated trunks, each with its own theme, games and treats. Say the magic words at every one.
And the warm, fuzzy knowledge that your ticket went straight to kids who need it at the Chalmers.
A few favourites from past years. Tap any photo to see it big.
Go-Go covers the costs. The Chalmers Foundation gets the ticket money, all of it, for pediatric care at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital and the Stan Cassidy Centre for Rehabilitation.
This year's goal is $13,000 for pediatric projects at the DECRH. That's roughly 870 kids in costumes, which, going by past years, is entirely doable.
2 kids = $30 to kids' care at the Chalmers
Get tickets on EventbriteKara Angus and the Go-Go team have run this since 2022, and it has grown into one of Fredericton's biggest family fundraisers. Dozens of local businesses decorate a trunk, dress up and hand out the treats.
Decorate your car, bring treats for a few hundred kids, and meet half of Fredericton's families in one afternoon.
No. Tickets are $15 per child. Parents and caregivers walk the loop for free, though we'd love to see you in costume too.
When you buy, you pick an arrival window between noon and 3:30 PM. It keeps the lines short and the trunks stocked, so every kid gets the full experience.
The event runs rain or shine. Many trunks set up tents and canopies, and a bit of drizzle has never slowed down a kid on a candy mission. Dress for the weather.
Anyone young enough to be thrilled by candy from a stranger's trunk. Toddlers in strollers through to preteens are the sweet spot, and the loop is fully stroller and wagon friendly.
Yes, on site at Knowledge Park. Follow the volunteers' directions when you arrive and leave a few extra minutes at busy entry times.
All sales are final, and no exchanges, since 100% of the proceeds go straight to the Chalmers Foundation. If your plans change, pass the ticket along to another family.
Online only, through Eventbrite. They tend to go fast, so don't wait until the week of.
